Schriftart, in dem jedes Zeichen eine unterschiedliche Breite (Dickte) hat. Bei der Schreibmaschinenschrift sind alle Buchstaben dicktengleich. Eine gebräuchliche nicht-proportionale Schrift ist Courier.
